North Brookfield schools closed due to lack of water service

Traffic accident caused water shutoff

NORTH BROOKFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Both schools in the Worcester County town of North Brookfield are closed Friday, because of a traffic accident.

Superintendent of Schools Marilyn Tencza told 22News that a car hit a fire hydrant, causing water service to be cut off to both North Brookfield Elementary School and North Brookfield Junior-Senior High School, which are both on the same campus.
