InFocus: DA Gulluni and Sheriff Ashe discuss law enforcement issues

Two of Hampden County's top law enforcement officers discuss crime and punishment and prevention initiatives.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Fighting crime and then prosecuting and incarcerating perpetrators is a daily struggle for law enforcement.

This Sunday on 22News InFocus we’ll be talking with Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni and Hampden County Sheriff Michael Ashe about what is being done to prevent crime and enforce the laws.

DA Gulluni will be discussing the changes he’s made in his first year in office, as well as about newly created initiatives and community outreach programs.  He will also outline his plans to combat crime, drugs, gangs, and highlight other law enforcement issues.

Sheriff Ashe will offer his outlook on the same issues as well as the programs he’s initiated to help incarcerated persons get drug treatment and educational training in order to live a better life once they’ve served their sentences.
