Caught on Camera: Human Trafficking arrests in Springfield strip club parking lot

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Only on 22News, our cameras were rolling in the parking lot of the 5th Alarm Lounge on Worthington Street in Springfield Thursday afternoon. We saw at least two women and one man placed into custody and taken away.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement & Homeland Security Investigations spokesperson told 22News special agents from Homeland Security Investigations, and officers with Massachusetts State Police and the West Springfield Police Department were executing search warrants related to human trafficking in Springfield today (Thursday).  Due to the nature of the investigation no further details are available at this time.

Daniel Kelly, attorney for the 5th Alarm told 22News the women were not employees. Kelly says they asked for a job application were denied, left and that’s when they were arrested.
