More and more winter clothes on sale from mild weather

Warmer temperatures have allowed some people to save money

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Warmer temperatures have allowed some people to save money. 22News is working for you with what this means for this upcoming winter season.

What this means is that we might not have to buy a whole new winter wardrobe.

Western Massachusetts has been feeling the warmer air throughout most of the fall season and now the month of December.

During the holiday season, we’re used to seeing the sale signs, but with warmer temperatures a lot more sale signs have been put on winter clothes.

It’s hard to even think of the puffy winter jackets, scarfs, and gloves when temperatures hit the lower 60’s just this past weekend.

Just ask Debbie Poulos, from Agawam, who told 22News, “Nothing it’s beautiful out, I haven’t worn my boots I’m not wearing a winter coat until I have to.”

If you need a new winter jacket or even some winter accessories it seems like now is the time to get them.

With last winter being so cold, many over estimated what this winter might have brought.

However, some people know winter is coming sooner or later and would rather be prepared.

Stay with the 22News Storm Team as they continue to keep an eye on these mild-like temperatures for December.
