ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – An accident involving a tractor trailer just over the state line in Connecticut caused heavy backups on I-91 southbound Monday morning.
All lanes of traffic have since opened up near the crash site, around Exit 48, and traffic is now flowing freely again. At its height, however, traffic had been backed up over the state line for about two miles into Longmeadow.
Connecticut State Police in Hartford had no reports of injuries in the crash.
The accident was first reported before 7:30 A.M., and was cleared at around 9:00.
