ADAMS, Mass. (WWLP) – The first three days of December haven’t been looking anything like Christmas, with rain and above-average temperatures. Atop Massachusetts’ highest peak, however, it was a different story. A coating of fresh snow covered the ground at Mount Greylock Thursday morning.

A photo from Bob Gutowski shows snow on the ground at the summit at 10:30 A.M.

The summit of Mount Greylock is 3,491 feet above sea level.
