Locals traveling as usual in wake of Paris attacks

People told us the tragedy makes them uneasy

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WWLP) – 22News visited Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, to find out if travelers were feeling uneasy about flying in the wake of the recent attacks in France.

Bradley Airport Operations told us they do not have any international flights from Bradley to France, or any other European nation.

Saturday night, the terminals were scarcely populated, but we did see a good number of TSA agents screening flyers. People told us the tragedy makes them uneasy, but doesn’t stop them from living.

Patrick Duffany of Cheshire, CT said, “Whenever something happens like that, you are always a little more nervous. But that won’t stop me from traveling. You should always be aware of what is going on, but don’t let that stop you from living your life.”

Roger Bowder of Granby said, “I feel confident in what they have set up here, and in other airports throughout the country.”
