WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – It’s not just I-91 that will cause delays to your commute; the Memorial Ave. rotary’s been under re-construction for months.
But 22News found out an end date is finally in sight.
MassDOT just replaced the rotary’s overpasses over Route 5. They expect to finish the bridge deck by the end of November.
The Rotary Replacement Project was projected to cost 11-million dollars.
There is a new set of closures for the Monday and Tuesday. One lane of the rotary will close for 24 hours starting Monday morning at 3am. The Route 5 North on and off ramps will also be closed.
The closure will last until 7am on Tuesday.
