MassDOT wants you to join the ‘Capital Conversation’

Which projects are most important to you?

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is seeking your input as they prioritize road, bridge, and transit projects over the next five years.

You may have noticed messages on the electronic highway boards, inviting you to join the ‘Capital Conversation.’ MassDOT wants to know which projects are most important to you, and whether you have a better idea on how to fix them.

There will be public meetings across the state over the next two weeks, including in Amherst, Pittsfield, and Springfield.

Below is a list of when and where the meetings will be held:

  • Monday, October 26, 6:00 p.m. – Bangs Community Center, 70 Boltwood Walk, Amherst
  • Thursday, October 29, 6:00 p.m. – Pittsfield City Hall, City Council Chamber, 70 Allen Street, Pittsfield
  • Thursday, November 5, 6:00 p.m. – Springfield City Hall, 36 Court Street, Springfield

If you can’t make a meeting but still have ideas, post your ideas at mass.gov/massdot/capitalconversations or email comments to masscip@state.ma.us
