SEATTLE (AP) — Two men of six injured in an electrical explosion at a hydroelectric dam on the Columbia River earlier this month remain in intensive care at a Seattle hospital.

The Tri-City Herald reports one man is in critical condition and the other is in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center. Both are slated to undergo burn surgeries.

Four additional injured men who also work for the Grant County Public Utility District have been treated and released from Harborview and other hospitals.

Officials have said the explosion Oct. 8 at the Priest Rapids Dam was caused by an electrical equipment malfunction. The publicly-owned utility serves about 46,000 customers in Grant County, which is about 150 miles east of Seattle.
