SOUTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP)- Southampton police say they have arrested a man and a woman in connection with the theft of about $500 worth of Crest White Strips and electric toothbrushes from the Rite Aid on College Highway.

According to the department, Branden Connelly, 28, of Sunderland, and Sherri Sulewski, 50, of Williamsburg, are both charged with larceny over $250 in connection with the theft, which took place Sunday afternoon.

Store employees told police that an approximately 6’ tall white man left the store without paying for the dental hygiene products. He was seen making a getaway in a white subcompact car, which police had initially said may have been a Volkswagen Beetle or a Fiat.

Southampton police say that Sulewski is the registered owner of the Fiat that is believed to have been used in the theft.
