Longmeadow Drive is a side street off Route 116 in South Amherst, not far from Hampshire College. Neighbor John Boothroyd told 22News it is unusual to see this many police in the area.

“I live next door to Butternut Farms and apparently there’s been some trouble today, but we’ve never had any problems with the people here, so as far as that goes, its never been an issue,” Boothroyd said.

Amherst Police Detectives said they are still investigating and there is no threat to the community.
