Windsor Locks, CONN. (WWLP) – Southwest Airlines has resolved their technology system issues that delayed nearly 500 flights on Sunday.
Southwest flights at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut were running on schedule Monday morning. The airline experienced issues with their technology systems across the country on Sunday. The glitch delayed flights, impacting the airline’s ticket counters, web page, and mobile app.
22News spoke to Seth Jacoby who was boarding a Southwest flight on Monday. Jacoby told 22News he was able to get through the ticketing counter smoothly. “I was worried hearing all the reports. Myself, and a bunch of colleagues who were flying out together had all kinds of trouble yesterday checking in, so we certainly wanted to make sure we had plenty of time,” he said.
The airline’s website now says their systems are back to normal. However, the airline said as of Monday, they’re still working on finding open seats for passengers whose flights were delayed.
