CHICOPEE, Mass (WWLP) – Here’s a look at what is going on around the Pioneer Valley this weekend!

Paradise City Arts Festival: Over 20 artists, jazz music and food will be set up at Three County Fairgrounds. It’s Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is 13 dollars.

5th Annual Riverside Blues, Brews & BBQ: It’s Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 6:00 PM, under the iconic Poet’s Seat Tower in Greenfield. Admission is 5 dollars, it’s a fundraiser for Greenfield’s Recreation Department.

Granville Harvest Fair: It’s from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday, Noon to 5:00PM Sunday and 10:00 PM to 5:00PM Monday.

Springfield Wellness Tour: The Wellness Tour, a collaboration between Walgreens and the National Urban League, is in the City this weekend. They offer free preventive and early detection health services, measuring 10 key health indicators like cholesterol and blood pressure. It started October 9th and goes to the 13th. Saturday, they stop at the Mason Square Health Clinic from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Firehouse Safety Day: Many local fire departments are opening their doors for tours today! It’s all to raise awareness about fire safety. In Easthampton, an open house will be from noon to 6:00 PM at the fire station, with tours each hour starting at 1:00PM. Northampton Fire Department opens their doors from 9:00AM to 1:00 PM at their headquarters on Carlon Drive. And in Springfield, an open house from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Square Fire Station.

Kids Safety Day: Kids can learn about safety today in Chicopee too. From 10:00 AM Saturday morning to 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon, there will be many safety events at the Chicopee Home Depot. There will be a kids’ workshop, air planes, the Red Cross, local police department, local fire department and even representatives from Westover Air Reserve Base, along with food.

Falcons Kick Off 2015 Season: The Springfield Falcons will be back on the ice Saturday Night to kick of their 2015 season. They have a new NHL partner, too. The Arizona Coyotes entered a multi-year deal with the Falcons during the off-season. The Coyotes are no strangers to Springfield. The two teams were partners from 1996 to 2004. The birds will play the Hershey Bears this weekend as hockey returns to the MassMutual center Saturday night at 7:00 PM. And if you get there at 4:00PM, the team’s hosting a block party with food, beer, and plenty of prizes.
