(KCRA) Four teens have been arrested after allegedly plotting to attack classmates and teachers at Summerville High School in Tuolumne, California.
Deputies were alerted Wednesday after students overheard the suspects discussing a plan to kill others on campus. Students told administrators what they heard, who in turn contacted law enforcement.
Investigators served two search warrants and recovered a written plan, although no weapons were discovered.
In interviews, investigators said the suspects admitted to having a detailed plan that they intended to carry out during an upcoming school event.
“The suspects’ plans were very detailed in nature, and included names of would-be victims, locations, methods in which the plan was to be carried out,” Tuolumne County Sheriff Jim Mele said.
