COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) A hairstyle trend gaining popularity among young men, is now banned by a college in Idaho.

Brigham Young University’s Idaho campus has banned the “man bun” under the school’s honor code. The BYU-I Honor Code states, hairstyles for males should be “clean and neat, avoiding extreme styles of colors and trimmed above the collar leaving the ear uncovered.”

The style has gotten a lot of attention recently after Game of Thrones star, Peter Dinklage wore a man bun to last week’s Primetime Emmy Awards.

Other male grooming trends banned by BYU-I include, beards and mustaches that extend below the corners of the mouth.
