KNOXVILLE (WATE) — It’s that time of year again. Allergy season puts a strain on so many people suffering from extreme symptoms.
Wellness expert, Shanti, offers a few tips she said can help reduce the effects of allergies. Using natural remedies, she said, can result in the same kind of relief you might experience with over the counter medication, but with much less dependency and side effects.
According to Shanti, natural oils like lemon and peppermint oil can help relieve allergy symptoms. She suggests looking for oils that are pure, and don’t use fillers that dilute nutrients.
Shanti also said avoiding milk and other dairy product will help reduce inflammation and congestion in the body.
