MERIDEN, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut State Police say a baby was among several people who were injured in a four-vehicle wreck on Route 15 in Meriden.
The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. Friday on Route 15 north near the merge with Interstate 91. Details on exactly how many people were hurt and how serious their injuries are haven’t been released. Several were hospitalized.
The northbound lanes of both Route 15 and Interstate 91 were closed during the response and cleanup. Only the right lane of Route 15 northbound remained closed late Friday afternoon.
It’s not clear what caused the accident. State police are investigating.
