SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Detectives from Springfield’s Strategic Impact Unit, Narcotics Division, arrested three men Thursday afternoon after an investigation into drug activity in a Forest Park neighborhood.
According to Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney, at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, detectives severed a search warrant at 84 Beaumont Street, first floor.
Detectives arrested 39-year-old Burrenton Crowley, 36-year-old Danny Clemons, and 22-year-old Atreyo Crowley-Chester. Sgt. Delaney said Atreyo, who is from Ludlow, attempted to get away by diving out a bedroom window wearing only pajama bottoms and no shirt. He was later arrested on Oakland Street after a foot chase.
Sgt. Delaney said the detectives seized 53 grams of PCP, 15 grams of powder cocaine, 55 grams of crack cocaine, 192 bags of heroin, 5 bags of marijuana, and $1,062 in cash. Officers also found a loaded Smith & Wesson .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol that was reported stolen.
All three suspects were charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Cocaine
- Distribution of Cocaine
- Possession of PCP With Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Heroin With Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Marijuana With Intent
- Carrying a Firearm Without a Permit
- Receiving Stolen Firearm
Detectives were led in the search by Lt. Steven Kent and Lt. Alberto Ayala.
