SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A 30-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after suffering two gunshot wounds in Springfield’s Forest Park neighborhood Thursday night.
Springfield Police Captain Robert Strempek said the Springfield man was “shot in the buttocks and his forearm” at the intersection of Dickinson and Keith Streets a few minutes before 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
Capt. Strempek said the man told police he walked out of the store and what appeared to be an 18 or 19 year old Hispanic man shot him.
Strempek said the victim is expected to survive. He was rushed to the hospital. No arrests so far.
