Dakin Humane Society Fundraiser held in Franklin County

Pet owners paid fifty dollars for the experience

WHATELY, Mass. (WWLP) – Not many eating places these days where you can take your dog to dinner.

But pets were specifically invited for Dakin Humane Society Fundraiser at a Whately Farm in Franklin County.

Guests were encouraged to bring their Dogs along with contributions to Dakin’s pet food bank program. One Dog owner told 22News, she just doesn’t see enough of her pet, so she welcomed this opportunity. “It’s a nice family event as it is, and to have her with us, I don’t see as much of her as I’d like to because I work a lot. I think this is really great to bring her here,” said Marianne Gregersen of Chicopee.

Pet owners paid fifty dollars for the experience of a having their dogs over for dinner. The optional dinner for dogs was a bargain at ten dollars for their meal.
