Firefighter injured after fighting a fire in Pittsfield

No one who lived in the home was hurt

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – One firefighter was taken to the hospital Saturday night after fighting a fire in Pittsfield.

Pittsfield Deputy Fire Chief Matt Noyes told 22News the firefighter was taken to Berkshire Medical Center, but he is expected to be okay.

Their trying to figure out what caused a two family home at 125 Circular Ave. to catch fire. Luckily, no one who lived in the home was hurt.
