SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Many people in western Massachusetts are making their commute to work through heavy fog. Visibility in much of the region was down to about a quarter of a mile Thursday morning. The fog was particularly bad in low-lying areas such as downtown Springfield along Interstate 91.
While driving in fog, it is important to remember to use your headlights, but not your high beams.
22News Storm Team Meteorologist Nick Bannin says that the entire area should be fog-free by between 9:00 and 10:00. To see if the fog will be making a comeback later in the day, check out your latest 22News Storm Team Forecast.
