BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — Brockton police have charged 10- and 11-year-old boys they say broke into a home to steal a video game console, but were trapped in the bathroom by a resident.
Police received a call on Tuesday afternoon from a woman who said two kids broke into her house.
Lt. Kenneth LeGrice tells The Enterprise that the kids removed a screen and crawled through the bathroom window. The woman saw the kids and held the bathroom door shut until her son arrived a short time later.
Her son then sat the kids on a couch to wait for police.
The boys were charged with felony breaking and entering. They were released to their parents pending a summons to appear in court.
