(WIVB) — Across the nation, American Airlines planes are reportedly on the ground as the company deals with a computer issue.
American Airlines is responding on Twitter to concerned customers who say they can’t board their flights. The company has routinely responded by admitting to technical problems that are stopping up their flights at several airports.
The airline company hasn’t yet said what spurred the airplane-grounding issue, but said they are working to return service to airports “as soon as possible.”
These two tweets show different reported issues linked back to American Airline computer systems, although American Airlines has only identified the issues as technical.
The FAA confirmed difficulties with American Airlines flights, notifying the media that the airline requested a grounding of all of its planes at three airports, including at Dallas/Fort Worth, O’Hare and Miami International Airports.
