SWAMPSCOTT, Mass. (WPRI) — Police say no one was injured after a branch fell outside the home of Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
State Police told Eyewitness News Friday night that a tree fell onto a State Police cruiser that was stationed outside Baker’s home around 8:30 p.m.
The cruiser was occupied at the time, but no injuries were reported, according to police.
Police said the back windows of the cruiser were shattered and the branch fell into the street.
Department of Public Works crews were called to the scene to remove the branch and officials said the road was closed for a short time.
Police said Baker was not home at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.
