Palmer police make arrest in August arson case

The home was vacant at the time of the fire

PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) – An arson arrest has been made Saturday night.

Palmer Fire Lt. Christopher Burns told 22News Dean Snyder of Warren was arrested and charged with setting a fire on August 20th in the town of Palmer. Since them, the State Fire Marshal’s Office has been investigating the cause of the house fire at 258 Breckenridge Street.

They determined it was intentionally set and Lt. Burns said they were able to identify Snyder as a person of interest through interviewing people in the community.

The home was vacant at the time of the fire. No one was hurt.
