About the Band:

Polar Planet, a Synth & Guitar driven Alt/Rock group from Northampton, MA, consists of members from local fan favorites, including Gone By Daylight and Mammal Dap, are thrilled to be playing a hometown show at Hinge next month. This group, formed by local musician Eric Paquette, is working hard to develop their sound and get their music in front of fans as much as possible, including shows in NYC, LA, and recently in Northampton at the Iron Horse, opening for Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World. Working with songwriters and producers in NYC, Los Angeles and Nashville, Polar Planet looks forward to releasing some tracks in the next few months.

Polar Planet is lead by Eric Paquette, who has been working as a musician for years, both on and off the stage. His last group, Gone by Daylight, toured the US extensively, played shows at SXSW and had songs featured on most major Television Networks including AMC, MTV, USA, A&E, Disney and ESPN. In addition to his work with Gone By Daylight, Eric also does a lot of work off of the stage as a songwriter, working very closely with songwriters at BMI in New York City, and writers with major publishing companies Warner/Chapel, BMG, Sony/ATV, Universal Music Group etc.. In the past he has had songs cut and released by an EDM artist in France that was featured on a compilation that went platinum and played all over NRJ and in all French speaking countries.

Polar Planet is Eric’s most recent project and he can’t wait to take the stage with fellow Gone By Daylight bandmate, Jordan King, and other local musicians, Zack Cross and Killian Karlsson of Mammal Dap at Hinge on September 12. This group is so excited to share their music with people on a stage that has recently featured some of the best local and touring musicians in the area. In the works they have plans for a run of west coast shows in November. There are also plans for an east coast tour down to SXSW in 2016.
