(NTV) People in Japan are going wild for a new delight called Earth Candy.
The finely detailed lollipop is sold by an astronomical observatory in northern Japan.
Staff began selling the candy in April of last year, but sales skyrocketed after someone raved about the Earth Candy on Twitter last month.
Workers sold 600 pieces in just three days.
The observatory is now following up with a Moon Candy to mark this year’s total eclipse.
One stick of the strawberry-flavored candies goes for 200 yen, or about $1.70.
