CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The crisp air of fall is approaching, but with these upper 80s in the forecast, it makes us think what we can expect for this fall.
Average high temperatures for September in New England are usually around the upper 70’s. We could be possibly seeing high temperatures being slightly warmer than normal.
Some people 22News talked to Tuesday were looking forward though to the cooler weather. Jennifer Perreault of Agawam told 22News, “It’s really hot out, especially the humidity. But I’m not looking forward to winter, so I don’t want to complain too much about the heat.”
The chance of seeing severe weather goes down, but that does not include hurricanes. Hurricane season continues until November 30th, so there still is a chance for seeing a hurricane, even though it has been a quiet season in the Atlantic Ocean.
Expect cooler nights and low humidity.
