SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The City of Springfield condemned an Indian Orchard Home for unsanitary living conditions, after dozens of animals were found inside.
Jessica Gower of the T.J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center told 22News city inspectors found seven dogs and nine cats, as well as parrots, rats, rabbits and guinea pigs in 99 Champlain Street.
T.J. O’Connor has helped care for the animals since they were rescued. No charges have been filed against the homeowners.
