SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – An argument involving two couples ended when one of the couples attacked a man with a knife and stabbed him twice Friday night, according to Springfield Police Captain Robert Strempek.
“A guy was stabbed twice. It doesn’t appear to be serious,” Captain Strempek said. Police got the call at 8:00 p.m. Friday.
An ambulance was called to take the victim to a local hospital. He’s expected to be okay.
Caution tape was set up across an alley next to an apartment building at 314 Union Street.
Captain Strempek told 22News that police had arrested a man and a woman, and that they were being booked at the Springfield Police Headquarters.
