EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Police say a “Road Rage” incident started in Southampton and ended in two crashes three miles away in Easthampton Friday night.

Easthampton Police Officer Robert Pouska told 22News a Southampton man chased a car that he thought had cut him off on Route 10.

Three miles later, the Southampton driver crashed into the other car near the Emily Dickinson Library at Main and South Streets in Easthampton.

The car took off, and the second car went after him. The first car crashed into a parked car a short distance away.

The Southampton driver was cited for hit and run and other violations.

Police were directing traffic, but the street had not been closed. All three cars were towed away. No one was hurt
