Water supply issues in Wilbraham following car crash

WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – Some Wilbraham residents woke up to issues with their water supply Monday morning.

Wilbraham police dispatcher Tony Gentille told 22News a car drove into a fire hydrant on Decorie Drive and Birch Street, and then took off.

The car crash occurred early Monday morning, causing water problems for some residents in the area.

No word yet on when the hydrant will be repaired.

The car accident is still being investigated by Wilbraham Police.
