Robbery suspects arrested after high speed chase

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WWLP) — An armed robbery in Springfield ended with a police chase and arrest in Connecticut.

Police told 22News two men robbed a victim who was walking into a gas station on West Street, or Route 20, just before 3:00 Saturday morning. Those men allegedly stole multiple items from the victim, injured him, and then drove off.

That was just the beginning.

Kaselouskas said the suspects crashed into multiple cars in town while trying to escape from police. That chase ended shortly before 4:00 Saturday morning when Enfield Police finally stopped the two men and arrested them.

Springfield and Enfield Police aren’t releasing any information on the suspects at this time. No one was hurt during the police chase.
