THREE RIVERS, Mass. (WWLP) – We may finally find out Thursday which rules village leaders think the fire chief violated in Three Rivers.
It’s a controversy that’s gone on for months. Three Rivers fire chief Scott Turner is waiting to find out whether he’ll be disciplined by the Prudential Committee, Three Rivers’ version of a board of Selectmen.
The Prudential Committee, in June, questioned the chief’s practices, but have not revealed their issues. Frustrated residents are growing impatient.
“If there’s something wrong, and he can’t do his job, then we should know that,” said one resident. Prudential Committee Chairman Ray Domey responded that “…it’s a process of law that does not allow us to say anything.”
Wednesday night was a regularly scheduled meeting of the Prudential Committee, during which the chief delivered his department report.
Chief Turner’s Disciplinary hearing takes place Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, and 22News will be there, and let you know what happens.
