Reports of shots fired investigated in Wilbraham

No evidence of a shooting was found

WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – Wilbraham police officers investigated reports of gunfire late Sunday night. Police Capt. Timothy Kane told 22News that shortly before midnight, police received three separate calls about shots fired in the area of Bartlett Avenue.

One of the callers reported hearing a total of eight gunshots.

Officers searched the Bartlett Avenue area for about an hour and a half, but no shell casings were discovered, and no other evidence of a shooting was found.
