GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from eastern Massachusetts has been arrested for drunk driving a third time, after police say he caused an accident near the Greenfield Rotary. According to Greenfield Police, Michael Walsh, 54, of Lowell, had his 14 year-old son in the car at the time of the crash late Friday afternoon, and is therefore also being charged with child endangerment while under the influence of alcohol.
The department posted on their official Facebook page that on the Exit 26 ramp, Walsh didn’t stop for traffic in the rotary, and rear-ended another car, which was then pushed into a third vehicle. There were minor injuries in the crash, but no one was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Bail for Walsh was set at $500 pending his arraignment.
