ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – For the 90th year in a row, the Mount Carmel Italian Festival is going on in Enfield. This three day celebration kicked off Friday night and will run through Sunday night.

Saturday night’s events started just around 5pm at the Mount Carmel Italian Society on Park Avenue in Enfield.

The New England Digital Orchestra played for the crowds, and singer and actress Deanna Martin, comedian Mike Marino and stars from the hit TV show Cake Boss were there.

Bill Pelley of Agawam told 22News, “We’ve been coming here for about five years. They have great food. I believe the church cooks all the food. It’s just a great night out and the weather is perfect.”

This event is open to the public, everyone is welcome. Tickets are only two dollars for adults and free for children under 12.
