Roasted pear a la mode

CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – If you love pears, you’ll love them even more when you roast them! Rob Guiry, ‘Biggest Loser’ Season 16 finalist, showed us how to make a healthy summer dessert, roasted pear a la mode!

Roasted Pear A La Mode

Ingredients:
2 ripe but firm pears
Zero Cal. Olive Oil spray.
¼ cup raw chopped almonds
1 tbsp brown sugar truvia
3 tbsp old-fashioned oats
Salt
1 pint Arctic Zero Vanilla Maple

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2) Half and core pears. Lightly spray with olive oil. Place on baking sheet on top rack for 25 minutes or until soft. Let cool slightly
3. Mix almonds, oats, brown sugar truvia, and a pinch of salt. Spray with olive oil. Toast on lower rack baking sheet for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.
4. Fill the core of each pear with mixture and top off with 1/2 a cup of Arctic Zero Vanilla Maple
