InFocus: State audits and social service resources

Find out how the state auditor watches over how tax dollars are spent and get information about local social services.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – State Auditor Suzanne Bump has made it her mission to make government work better and that includes watching over how your tax dollars are spent. Her department also evaluates the quality of services provided to residents of Massachusetts and how efficiently government runs.

This week on 22News InFocus, the auditor will answer our questions about her most recent reports, including the cost of the state’s program on housing the homeless in motels.

We’ll also be talking with representatives from the Center for Human Development (CHD) about resources available for the homeless and those struggling with addiction.

22News InFocus airs this Sunday at noon.
