About Mojo:
Mojo is a cute as a button, miniature schnauzer mix.  He is a local dog and his owner was unable to care for him any longer. He was mostly housetrained in his previous home as well as crate trained. He can be slightly shy when he meets you initially, but warms up quickly and is a very friendly and affectionate fellow. He’d be a great first dog for a family with children. All family members should come to meet him to be sure he is the right match for everyone. He is also friendly with other dogs and would enjoy a home with another playful pup.

“You Gotta Be Kitten Me!”
Right now at Dakin, kitten adoption fees have been reduced considerably from $350 to $250…or if you want to adopt 2 kittens (to keep litter mates together or let adoptees have a “built-in” pal to keep them company), you can do that for $400.  All adoptable kittens will have been spay/neutered, received all age-appropriate vaccines, been microchipped, received a full vet exam and all the other “extras” that are included with Dakin standard adoption fees!  Check our adoption listings at!/

Primp Your Pit
In the month of August, Dakin will be providing a limited number of spay/neuter surgeries for pit bulls for only $20, thanks to a grant from PetSmart Charities.  Call our Spay/Neuter Clinic at 413.781.4019 to book your August appointment, and your pittie will get a free nail trim as well!  Why pit bulls specifically?  Because they’re the breed found most often at our shelters, and we want to curb unwanted litters.
