Form: engaging your abdominal and gluteal muscles throughout the entire movement will help you capitalize on all the benefits of this simple body weight exercise
Tempo: slow down… Incorporate slower negatives to increase time under tension and build strength.
Try 220.127.116.11 (lower for four seconds, pause for one second in the bottom position, raise your body for a one count, rinse and repeat)
Breathing: this is an often over looked, yet invaluable tool. Inhale as you lower your body, forcefully exhale as your raise your body. It is important to connect your breath with your movement.
