(KRBC) Flash-flooding turned into a play day for one Abilene, Texas neighborhood.
Tuesday’s record rainfall had numerous streets flooded and some saw feet of water, including Pasadena Heights. The northeast Abilene neighborhood took full advantage of the flood filled streets, using them as a lazy river and fishing pond.
“You can see them floating. You just have to get out there and catch it,” said one Pasadena Heights resident. “You see them swimming and jumping.”
She’s talking about the fish that were swimming down her street. A freshly stocked pond at the front of the neighborhood overflowed, causing fish to pass residents front yards.
