Arrests made after multiple home break-ins in Ware

WARE, Mass. (WWLP) – Ware Police arrested three people Tuesday for breaking and entering, after they received a tip of a suspicious man walking around a house. This was one of numerous home breaks over the past two weeks.

Kailee Grigas, Richard Poe and Robert Chappa were arrested by the Ware Police Department on charges of intent to commit a Felony, Larceny over $250.00 and conspiracy.

The three were involved in an active break-in at an Old Belchertown Rd. residence when Police arrived on scene.  Grigas was found in a vehicle in front of the house, acting as a look out while Poe and Chapa committed the break-in.  Poe and Chapa fled out the back door and were located shortly after.

Over the past two weeks the Belchertown and Ware Police Departments have investigated numerous house breaks. After interviewing the involved suspects police determined they committed several other home break-ins in Ware and Belchertown. Poe was held on $2,500 bail, Chapa $2,000.00 bail and Grigis $1,500.00 bail.

Additional charges may be added after forensic evidence submitted to the State Crime Lab is analyzed.
