ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut’s lobster shacks are a family destination in the summer time, but a major chain is getting back in on the lobster action.

McDonald’s is now offering lobster rolls on their menu for about $8. The chain offered the rolls years ago, and held a tasting event in Enfield on Friday.

“The quality control at McDonald’s especially, you walk into a McDonald’s, you know exactly what to expect. Mystic, Enfield, doesn’t matter, they are all going to taste exactly the same.”

The roll is made with 100-percent north Atlantic lobster. The limited time offer will only be on the menu until mid-August.
