CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – In January, Massachusetts welcomed a new administration to the State House.
Governor Charlie Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito were immediately faced with the dilemmas caused by crippling snow storms. But now they’re back on track and working on everything from the budget to programs designed to reduce homelessness, improve employment and education, and address the addiction crisis.
This Sunday on 22News InFocus, Lieutenant Governor Polito will be discussing these and other issues facing the state. She will highlight what they’ve accomplished so far and their plans for the future.
We will also be joined by a doctor who is on the Governor’s Opioid Addiction Working Group. The panel recently released their findings and recommendations on how to best deal with the state’s opioid addiction crisis.
It’s a program you won’t want to miss. Be sure to watch 22News Infocus this Sunday at noon.
