NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The second man charged in connection to a gang rape inside a UMass student’s dorm room has been found guilty. A Northampton jury convicted Justin King on three counts of rape, according to Mary Carey, spokesperson for the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say that King and three other men forced themselves upon an intoxicated and barely-conscious freshman on October 13, 2012. The first man to be tried, Emmanuel Bile, Jr., was convicted of aggravated rape back in April, and sentenced to 8-10 years in prison.

In both cases, the defense claimed that the sex was consensual.

Two other suspects, Adam Liccardi and Caleb Womack, have yet to be tried.

Justin King is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday.
