The Cory J. Garwacki Foundation held a launch party on Saturday June 20th at the History of Springfield Museum at the Quadrangle in Springfield MA. This was the Foundation’s grand kick off & introduction to family, friends, and members of our community.
The foundation has been established to honor and celebrate Cory’s life while supporting the causes that were important to him. It was Cory’s dream to create a non-profit foundation. Through sponsorships and on-going fundraising efforts, the Foundation will offer academic scholarships to students continuing their education in the field of communications. The Foundation will support various children’s charities and raise awareness in the community for key health care issues that Cory was passionate about.
Cory’s mom Beth and sister Sarah talked with 22News anchor Rich Tettemer about the Foundation’s motto “Live to Give.”
