Jury selection for second UMass rape trial suspect

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Jury selection is almost complete for the second of four men accused of raping a UMass student in her dorm room two years ago.

Northwestern District Attorney’s spokeswoman Mary Carey told 22News lawyers had agreed on ten jurors Monday in the trial of Justin King.

They will need to choose four more jurors before the trial can begin.

King is one of four men accused of raping a former UMass student in October of 2013.

Emmanuel Bile is serving 8 to 10 years in state prison after he was convicted of aggravated rape in April.
